The UAE 40 years ago was so empty because it was a desert, but nowadays the UAE is different , It is famous for oil and it has many cities like Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain, but still it has some similar things. So in this essay I wall write about the similarities and differences.
There are some similarities between the UAE 40 years ago and the UAE nowadays.The first is that both of them have the same weather; it is hot, dry and sunny so you can’t walk in the street in summer, so you start searching for shade. Another similarity is that they have the same language, religion and traditions which are Arabic language, Islam and the same clothes and food.
Although there is some similarities there are many differences between the UAE 40 years ago and the UAE nowadays. One of them is the big cities; nowadays it has many facilities like schools, hospitals, banks and shops, but 40 years ago it didn’t had big cities, it had a large area of sand . Another one is that in the past the UAE had clean weather because it didn’t have cars like these days.
However, the differences are more than the similarities, but I like the UAE nowadays because it is comfortable and easy; some people like my grandfather will disagree with me because they love the desert.
